Sat, Dec 7: 2019 Creamfields Guangzhou @ Guangzhou Science City Commercial Plaza

This Satuday, Creamfields is setting up shop in Guangzhou’s Science City, with acts like Carta, Dexter King, System F and more great musical talent set to take the stage. Expect an energetic crowd at this all-day music event, as last year’s show, staged next to the Canton Tower, was as lively as it gets here in the PRC.

Sat, Dec 7: Bloodz Boi @ The Window

Bloodz Boi is coming to Canton this weekend, bringing that real attitude and avant-garde consciousness that’s made him popular in Beijing’s underground music scene. Presented by Silk, this show is taking place on The Window’s 2nd floor, and also includes acts by Gaba and Tzu Elijah.

Sat, Dec 7: Nonku Phiri @ Brasston

Johannesburg-based vocalist and songwriter Nonku Phiri’s style blends contemporary production styles with vintage Afropop influences. She’s quickly become one of South Africa’s most distinctive and influential voices in the country’s electronic music scene, and will be performing in Guangzhou this Saturday amid an eight-city tour.

Tue, Dec 10: Oh Messy Life... Vol. 2 @ Sunny Heart

Pop into Sunny Heart studio in Haizhu for Tuesday night tunes by Tokyo-based sans visage and local talent Nein or Gas Mus and Bennu is a Heron. Sans visage arrives in Guangzhou just days after two big shows in Beijing and Shanghai. Organized by Qiii Snack Records, expect the hardcore group to rock out in Canton on their first China tour.
