It’s official: Tickets for the 2019 Santa Pub Crawl in Guangzhou are going on sale at 7pm tonight at Morgan’s Public House and Rebel Rebel and cost RMB300 each. Hooley’s in Liede will also be selling tickets from tomorrow.
Due to complaints that tickets sold out too fast last year, organizers have set a six-ticket limit per person. This will be strictly enforced, please do not show up and expect to buy 30 tickets.
Tickets are expected to sell out fast, so move quick to ensure you don’t miss out on this year’s event!
For those not in the know: Saturday, November 30 will be far from a ‘Silent Night’ in Guangzhou, as the 16th annual Guangzhou Santa Pub Crawl returns to the city. Arguably the city’s hottest holiday event, the Guangzhou Santa Pub Crawl is one of Canton’s largest and best-attended pub crawls, with over 300 attendees last year and RMB28,000 raised for a charitable cause!

Pub crawl attendees can expect free flow wine, bubbly and beer at some of Guangzhou’s hottest nightlife spots (additional ‘surprise’ drinks will also be provided at the venues). There will also be finger foods and live entertainment at some of the venues, and transportation between each participating bar is provided.
This year’s Santa Pub Crawl will start at Morgan’s at 6pm and buses will leave to the next location at 7.30pm, sharp! The rest of the itinerary is a closely guarded secret, although we can attest: This year’s boozy roster is an all-star lineup.
Now, one last extremely important point before we wrap this up: People who do not arrive at the event in full costume will not be allowed to board the buses or participate in the event, a Santa hat will not cut it.
For more information on this year’s event, see this previously published article from That’s.
We want to take a minute to thank the sponsors for this year’s event, without their help this event would not be possible: Vedett, Grimbergen, Brooklyn Brewery, Grand Mercure, Mercuris Fine Wines, The Wine People, Stone Brewing, Park Hyatt Guangzhou and Conrad Guangzhou.
