Regardless of whether you’re enduring a frosty winter up north or the tamer cool breeze down south, when Starbuck’s ‘Christmas red’ cups come out, everyone knows it’s holiday season.

Starting in 1997, Starbucks has rolled out their distinctive Christmas cups as a way of announcing that the holiday is in the air. On November 5, the coffee giant introduced these season-specific cups, and invite everyone to stop by for a freshly brewed merry coffee to appreciate this special time of year.

This year, Starbucks is presenting four Christmas cup designs with classic, vibrant and stylish elements. The annual winter festival exclusive Toffee Nut-flavored Latte also join hands with two other popular returning products. Starbucks also has more Christmas-themed limited products that make for the perfect holiday gift.

Below, we introduce you to these wonderful and tasty drinks:

Starbucks is putting the classic red and green Christmas colors to work, with four unique cup designs – retro, avant-garde, dynamic and trendy – to add a little spice to the holiday season. The company is also celebrating 48 years of continuous progress and breakthrough of their ‘Star’ (星) course.

Each cup has its own distinctive Christmas-y vibe, making every order of coffee seem like a gift from Santa. And best part of all: everyone is on the nice list!

Starting with the candy cane stripe, this cup was inspired by that must-have candy on everyone’s Christmas tree, reminding people of those sweet memories during the holidays. Next, the polka dot cup is like a wrapped up coffee present, with the only thing missing being a bow on top! The merry coffee strip cup is ‘Christmas green’ and was designed with the electronic world in mind as coded strips are slanting across the cup. And last but not least, the merry coffee dance turns your cup of joe into a coffee fiesta, with letters popping out like our eyes after several rounds of Starbucks espresso shots.

And with festive cups come festive limited-edition drink items, such as the Toffee Nut-flavored Latte. This smooth and creamy latte knows just how to warm you up, with a rich coffee aroma coupled with a wonderful toffee taste and whipped cream on top. You can tell it’s a fan favorite as it ‘celebrates’ its 18th birthday – older than a fair share of Starbucks patrons. This delicious beverage is now available, so be sure to drop by a nearby Starbucks and order yourself a toffee nut flavored latte to jumpstart your day.

Another special beverage in the Starbucks Merry Coffee lineup is the Snowy Black Forest Mocha. It’s a wonderful coffee concoction with fine chocolate sprinkled on top as if they were tasty snowflakes. And finally, the Gingerbread-flavored Latte is a savory drink with a fragrant aroma that fills the room with a blend of gingerbread and coffee.

Anyone who visits Starbucks knows that its Christmas gifts make for a great present for family, friends, colleagues and, shamelessly, yourself! From coffee beans to cakes and cups, Starbucks has it all.

This winter, if the weather is cold and you don’t feel like going outside (we’ve all been there), then you can use Starbucks special star delivery to order that Christmas-themed coffee right to your door. Starbucks is always pushing the envelope for creative ways to revel in the holiday spirit and wishes everyone a ‘merry coffee.’
