Exciting news for lovers of dance, drinks, games or all of the above: On Wednesday, August 7, 8 Fauborg Bar and Terrace is hosting ‘Tango Night,’ an evening filled with plenty of dancing, boozy challenges and awesome prizes!

RMB188 will get you entry into the event, plus a number of appetizing snacks and a welcome drink – a bottle of Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc for gentleman and a Grimbergen cocktail for the ladies (though you’re welcome to ask for the alternate drink if you’d like). Additionally, 1664, Grimbergen and Brooklyn beer will be sold at 30% off for the entire night.
The main event will, of course, be tango dancing – but if the though of letting loose on the dance floor intimidates you, worry not! A professional tango dancer will be facilitating the action and guiding you through the steps, so beginners are more than welcome.

Even if tango isn’t your thing, there’s plenty to be excited about. Guests can look forward to an epic treasure hunt, drunk jenga and beer bowling, as well as some more unusual games like ‘super delivery’ and ‘super drinker,’ the latter of which will have you drinking through a straw that also functions as a swanky pair of glasses.
Be sure to dress in blue – the theme color for the evening, and come looking sharp, as there will be a ‘Best Dress of the Decade’ contest with excellent prizes for the most dazzling men and women.
The top prize will be a free hotel stay at the exquisite Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich, with numerous additional winnings to be claimed throughout the night.
Grab your dancing shoes and a friend or two – a dancing partner perhaps – and come wet your whistle while partaking in one of South America’s famous artistic pastimes – the tango!
