Oh, Canada. The home of such esteemed musical acts such as Rush, Neil Young, Celine Dion and Alanis Morissette, veteran comedians like Seth Rogan, Mike Myers and Jim Carrey, the oh-so-dreamy Ryan duo (Gosling and Reynolds, whattup!) and maple syrup, Canada is a place you should be at least somewhat familiar with – even if you’ve never been there.

Today, we’re excited to announce to our readers that tickets are on sale NOW for this year’s epic Canada Day party atop the Crowne Plaza Guangzhou City Center hotel. The event will be held on June 22 from 6-10.30pm on the hotel’s rooftop helipad with a red and white (or Canadiana) dress code.

So, what’s the theme of this year’s event? And what can you, as an attendee, expect?

This year, the fine folks over at CanCham are turning back the clock, transporting guests to the glory days of MuchMusic with a music video-themed party experience. Expect classic music videos, fantastic Canadian tunes and plenty of surprises. Of course, booze and food will also be readily available, and all guests will receive a welcome drink.

Now, we don’t want to give too much away, but before we get into the ticket purchasing info, we want to share one last fantastic tidbit of party info: Air Canada – a CanCham founding member – has graciously sponsored two free roundtrip tickets from Hong Kong to any major Canadian destination. That’s right, fresh sockeye in Vancouver, poutine in Montreal and complaining in Toronto have never been closer! (Just kidding, Toronto).

General admission tickets cost RMB150 and include entrance to the event and a welcome drink. A spot at a tall table will run you RMB500 for two people and two welcome drinks (one per person). Click here to purchase your spot now, or scan the QR code below:
