New techno venue The Window, is taking no breaks, hooking up with local label Underground Union once more to bring French DJ Arnaud Le Texier, along with Underground Union members Krome and Viyee, to the Zhujiang New Town-based venue for another evening of delicious vibes.

Modern Sky-affiliated Beijing band Mr. Turtle straddle a number of genres, including reggae, soul and funk, blues and indie pop. Catch them as they go out on a monstrous tour around the country, making pitstops in both Shenzhen and Guangzhou this weekend.

Sat, Mar 30: Madilyn Bailey @ Mao Livehouse
After being discovered playing covers on YouTube, Bailey set out on tour with Boyce Avenue in 2013. Since then she has released two EPs, an album and a number of singles, including covers of tracks by the likes of Imagine Dragons, Cher and Sia.

Sun, Mar 31: Welcome to Utopia @ Mao Livehouse
This gig sees a threesome of epic local bands, garage rockers Nouvelle, one-man band Smelly Hoover and rockers Whale Wave. Combining three very different styles of music, but also sharing a unified enjoyment for all things independent, this is a fantastic opportunity to catch some of Guangzhou’s best indie music in one space.
