Ukrainian post rock, in the form of The Best Pessimist, arrives in China this month. Organized by the fantastic 1724, a China-based post rock label and promotor, The Best Pessimist are set to take in eight cities up and down the country, as they bring their latest album, Future, to the masses.

With the release of their latest album, Sondersongs, LA post rock band Whale Fall continue to develop their unique brand of music. Incorporating a wide range of sounds, including piano, cello, brass instruments like trumpets and analog synths into their music, they sound quite unlike their bleak contemporaries.
