Guangzhou’s metro system is known for many things, including (in no particular order) it’s efficiency, cleanliness and insane passenger volume. By the beginning of 2019, according to a report by Guangzhou Daily, Guangzhou will have baby-care rooms accessible from Baiyun Airport to Guangzhou South Station.
On August 15, 2018, officials confirmed that 40 more metro stations will have facilities catering to mothers with infants and small children by the end of the year. The move is thanks in large part to public outcry over the lack of stations that accomodated mothers and their babies.

Stations along Line 9, Line 13, Knowledge City Line and the southern extension of Line 4 are also expected to have infant-care rooms at some point in the future, although Guangzhou Metro staff were vague about the details when contacted by That's.
In addition to the baby-care rooms in Guangzhou subway stations, the local government plans to install similar facilities in other heavily trafficked areas around the city. Mothers looking to make use of baby-care amenities can find the nearest room by adding the WeChat account ‘gzwomen.’
