That's PRD takes a look at the best live music performances happening this weekend in Guangzhou:

Fri, Apr 13: Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike @ Hepburn Bar

Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike bring their electrifying live show to Hepburn Bar this Friday. Having garnered global praise and multiple ‘Global DJ of the Year’ awards since first breaking out on the music scene in 2010, the duo are back with a new track along with Vini Vici & Cherrymoon Trax; a remake of the classic ‘The House Of House.’ Catch them in Guangzhou before they make their way to Shanghai for the first-ever Daydream Festival.

Apr 13, 11.30pm; RMB280 presale, RMB480 at the door. Hepburn Bar. See event listingTickets

Sat, Apr 14: Wayne’s So Sad @ Mao Livehouse

After releasing their gritty, crunching, punk-infused album Or Do You Only Want To Be Great Once In A While (還是偶爾想要偉大) last year, Taiwan-based band Wayne’s So Sad finally make it to China for a national tour. With support provided by local punks Die!ChiwawaDie!, who just got back from performing at White Light, White Tower in Beijing, and Pinboard, who this year released their great EP SHOCK!, this one is not to be missed.

Apr 14, 8.30pm; RMB80 presale; RMB120 at the door. Mao Livehouse. See event listingTickets

Sun, Apr 15:  Daniel Powter @ Central Station

Mr. Powter may be known amongst casual music fans as a one-hit wonder for his highly popular hit single, 'Bad Day,' but the Canadian singer-songwriter has been steadily adding romantic ballads, such as 'Christmas Cupid,' to his ever-growing catalogue. This weekend in Guangzhou he brings new single 'Perfect to Me' to Central Station for what is sure to be an enchanting set.

Apr 15, 8pm; RMB480 presale, RMB580 at the door, RMB880 VIP. Central Station. See event listingTickets

Apr 17: Yuck @ Mao Livehouse

British noise rock troupe Yuck are back in China for a group of four dates this spring. They garnered comparisons to legends of grunge rock, such as Nirvana and Pearl Jam, after the release of their self-titled debut in 2011. Since then, they've put out two more fantastic full lengths in Stranger Things and Glow and Behold, which have seen the band explore more aspects of the noise rock genre.

Apr 17, 8.30pm; RMB150 presale, RMB180 at the door. Mao Livehouse. See event listingTickets
