Apr 6-8: HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series

The three-day extravaganza of international rugby revelry kicks off with a range of new activities. Beyond the dozens of teams competing in the 40,000-seat stadium, there are e-sports to play, a fanwalk of food, drinks and street performances, a junior ninja warrior obstacle course and more. Ex members of UB40 Ali, Astro and Mickey perform at the kickoff concert on Thursday, April 5, at 8pm.

Apr 10-12: Asia-Pacific Business Forum

The Asia-Pacific Business Forum kicks off this month in Hong Kong at Pok Fu Lam’s Cyberport. Bringing together luminaries from the fields of business, development, economics, governance and tech, the gathering will focus on how private sector-led innovation can drive sustainable development in the region. Apr 24: The Script

Ireland’s hit trio are back in Hong Kong after a six year absence, this time with the catchy, sardonic single ‘Rain’ from their latest album, Freedom Child. The Underground presents a lineup of electronic innovation to celebrate their (sorta) birthday, with high-flying gifts for ticket holders. Speakers, headphones, clothing vouchers and a vegetable box from Magic Season Organics await. DJ Janette Slack opens and sequin-clad JUNK! closes out with '80s retro pop samples and "colourful tunes that delve into subjects like how his wife became pregnant, his hatred for a workplace colleague, and his love for his grandma's soup."
