Feb 2: Power Trio @ JZ Club
Blues powerhouse Zhang Ling will bring his potent tunes to JZ Club this Friday as part of the Power Trio, which also includes Robin Liu on guitar and Jason Coffey on drums. The nationally renowned bass player has performed all around the world and appeared on Chinese talent shows like Sing My Song, whilst also working with possibly the most famous Chinese rockstar of them all, Cui Jian. To put it another way: this is not a night to be missed.

Feb 3: Revolution @ 191 Space
Formed in 2011, Revolution are a band made entirely of foreigners out of Dongguan. They’ve played all across Guangdong and in cities such as Shanghai while bringing their particular brand of hard rock music to the masses. They are expected to perform a few songs off their upcoming release, Upside World, on the evening. The doors are free for this one, so come and enjoy a nice drink in 191 Space while basking in the musical stylings of Revolution.

Feb 3: Janice Yan @ T:union
Another free event this weekend as famed pop star Janice Yan will come to T:union for a fan event, meeting and greeting fans while also dipping into songs from her recently released debut album I Have Myself. Notably, Yan has previously been nominated for a Golden Melody Award for Best Smile in Pop Music in 2011. She has also made the rounds of various reality shows since her debut in 2004, so if you are a fan of heart-breaking pop be sure to make it to T:union this Saturday.
