Feb 4: Heidi Jazz Duo
While studying music in Italy, Hong Kong singer Heidi began performing Italian folk songs, sung in local Italian dialects, across the country. Her work was later noticed by Italian music aficionados and brought to the stage, where she performed alongside Italian pianist Danilo Tarso. The duo will be in Guangzhou this month to present original compositions, as well as some classic jazz tunes.

Ongoing: Exhibition of Tibetan Yak Culture
Straight out of Lhasa, the Tibet Yak Museum is the very first of its kind. Dedicated to Tibetan customs associated with yaks, it boasts a total of over 500 artworks, yak specimens and products – all of which are currently on display as a temporary exhibit at the Guangzhou Museum of Art.

Ongoing: Chinese New Year Set Menu at Ming Court
Ming Court at Langham Place, Guangzhou is offering four ‘reunion’ set menus throughout February. Highlight dishes include a suckling pig platter, braised bird’s nest with fish maw and conpoy, braised sea cucumber and mushrooms with abalone sauce and steamed fresh grouper in premium soy sauce.
