Concert cancellations are never fun to report on and today is no different, as we regretfully announce that the December 1 Shenzhen performance by Jessie J and Flo Rida has been canceled.
According to a press release from Red Dragon Culture Media Entertainment, the company behind the abandoned concert, the cancellation is due to "unavoidable circumstances owing to unforeseen issues pertaining to local production."
The release also states:
“Proceeding with the show would have severely impacted the overall event quality and hence, keeping in mind the best interests of the artists, Jessie J and Flo Rida, and the general public that has pre-purchased tickets in anticipation for a high-quality musical experience, we, the team at Red Dragon Culture Media Entertainment (Shenzhen) Limited, felt it was best to cancel the show than producing a subpar event.”
