November 27: Air Supply
Three-time Grammy-winning Air Supply boasts nearly 30 years of musical experience. The band consists of singer-songwriter and guitarist Graham Russell and lead vocalist Russell Hitchcock, and has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide. This week, at Guangzhou Gymnasium on November 27, Air Supply is bringing their classic tracks, such as 'Unchained Melody,' to their Guangzhou fans. Don't miss out!

November 28: The Beatleband
Four expats, with a love for the sounds of the sixties, are coming together to recreate ‘Beatlemania.’ Performing The Beatles’ greatest hits from every one of their number one selling albums, they will take you on a musical journey through the life and times of the world’s most celebrated band. The group prides themselves in showmanship, energy, quality and commitment. Come sing along to ‘Can’t Buy Me Love,’ ‘Yesterday,’ ‘Hey Jude’ and many more of The Beatles’ most popular songs.

November 30-December 3: Lebensraum
Two roommates sharing a single-room apartment make good use of space: the bed is a piano, while the fridge can be used as a bookshelf. To keep the space clean, they create a mechanical maid, with one man making regular romantic advances – until the maid becomes self-aware, shaking up the formerly peaceful space.

November 30: German Wine Tasting
Lying in Bavaria to the east of the Rhine, Franken is one of the 13 wine regions in Germany. Its cold winter, high rainfall throughout the year, early frosts and long, warm autumn all contribute to the character of the wines produced in Franken, which is considered the most masculine among German wines.
This week, join a wine tasting organized by the German Chamber of Commerce, who have invited a professional wine trainer to talk about food and wine pairing. Also, come take advantage of discounts on wines.

December 2: Qiangdeng Lake Music Festival
Qiandeng Lake Music Festival is an annual cultural highlight in Nanhai District, Foshan. More than 30 bands from Guangzhou and Foshan competed in monthly contests from June to October to participate in the music festival. Now, five outstanding bands have been selected to perform this week on December 2.
Starting at 11am, a food and flea market will be arranged this year. The music festival will also feature performances by famous Chinese bands.

December 2: AmCham Winter Ball
Amid fairy tales, whimsical romance and glamorous costumes, this year’s Winter Ball (hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce) will take on a 'wonderland' theme. As a tradition that goes back many years at AmCham South China, the Winter Ball this year is going to fall on the evening of December 2 at LN Garden Hotel, Guangzhou. December 3: Christine Walevska
Born in 1943, renowned American cellist Christine Walevska is referred to as ‘goddess of the cello’ by fans. She first stepped on stage at 18 years old, and has been actively performing all over the world ever since. Accompanied by Japanese pianist Akimi Fukuhara, her concert in Guangzhou is not to be missed.

Until December 10: 2017 ISA International School R&F Consulate Championship Football Tournament
After two successful tournaments in 2015 and 2016, this year's Guangzhou R&F Consulate Championship Football Tournament promises to be bigger and better than ever, with 22 teams participating. Organized by Guangzhou R&F Football Club and sponsored by ISA International School Guangzhou, the tournament is one of the largest of its kind held among foreign consular institutions in China, and something football lovers everywhere can look forward to!

Until December 15: China Between Yesterday and Tomorrow
This exhibition showcases daily life in China during 1950s as captured by the late Swiss photojournalist Fernand Gigon, which is brought to passengers at Yuexiu Park Metro Station by the Consulate General of Switzerland in Guangzhou, Guangzhou Metro Group and Swiss Foundation for Photography in Winterthur. Some 60 black-and-white photos are being exhibited until December 15.
