Crazy Crash Sees Taxi Top Car in Guangzhou

A taxi driver in Guangzhou’s Yuexiu District had a flying start to the weekend last Friday, September 8, when his red cab ended up on top of another vehicle.

According to witnesses, the incident happened around 10.30pm on Huanshi Lu, near Taojin Metro Station and the Baiyun Hotel.

It’s unclear how the red taxi got on top of the car, although we like to imagine the cabbie was trying to use the white sedan as a ramp in some Fast and Furious-esque driving stunt.

That’s contacted the Guangzhou Transportation Group, the company that operates the cab, and were told they were unaware of the accident – although they confirmed the vehicle in the images is part of their taxi fleet.

A spokesperson for the Guangzhou Transportation Group told That’s the company would be able to provide more information by Wednesday, September 13.
