The third high-speed train for the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link (XRL) arrived in Hong Kong on July 6 and, so far, the reception has been warm, with the Southern Metropolis Daily glowingly reporting that “it runs like a flying dragon.”

The three trains were open to visitors on July 9 to showcase their interior design and numerous amenities. Though it's still unclear when the XLR will officially begin servicing passengers, testing will commence in the second half of this year.

As part of the Beijing-Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong XRL, Beijing passengers can now travel to Hong Kong in 9 hours.
