Unless you’ve been inside slaving over a laptop all day writing stories about football, landslide victims and China Mobile’s 5G test site, you probably already know that it has been a beautiful day in Guangzhou. The sky is blue, the sun is out and it's hot – certified hot.
Today in 'The Flower City' we saw a high of 35 degrees Celsius (or 34, depending on your source), although it felt more like 40, according to AccuWeather.

The good news if you enjoyed today’s oven-like heat, and the really bad news if you melted, is that temperatures in the mid-30s are here until at least Thursday.
Once Friday rolls around, things are expected to cool down a bit, with temperatures in the low 30s/high 20s hanging around for the remainder of the current 14-day forecast.
