What’s not to love about Germany? Cheese-filled sausages, wheat beer and the iconic Volkswagen Type 2 ‘Bus,’ face it: Germany is cool.
In celebration of Deutschland, the German Chamber of Commerce is throwing a two-day festival on June 30 and July 1 appropriately titled ‘Discover Germany.’
The event is in its first year and will feature brands, products, culture, innovation, education and food from the land of poets and engineers. Bring your family and friends to taste original German burgers, beer and traditional snacks.
Parents are encouraged to bring their children to paint, play and take pictures at the Bayern Munich photo wall.
Attendees will also have the chance to view the newest German cars and find out which German company builds the tunnels for Chinese high-speed railways.
Not interested in beer and German automobiles? Don’t worry, there will also be live music, games and a lucky draw with two free flights to Germany as the first place prize, courtesy of Turkish Airlines.
Discover Germany will be held both indoors and outdoors, at the new Kingold Century Plaza in Zhujiang New Town.
