We know it's hard to remember these things here in China, but it's almost Easter Sunday, and we've made your job easier by rounding up the best places to celebrate the resurrection of Christ in Guangzhou so you can tell your mom (honestly) that you attended mass on Easter.
Tip: be sure to bring your passport, as some congregations may require it for entry.
Sacred Heart Cathedral
Easter Sunday ceremonies will run in Cantonese at 7am and 8.30am, in Mandarin at 10.30am and in English at 3.30pm. In addition, service will be held at 7.30am on Saturday, while Good Friday ceremonies will commence at 3pm and 8pm.

A service will be held in Cantonese at 8.30am and English at 11am.

Services will be held from Thursday to Saturday – in both English and Mandarin – at 8pm.

Fangcun Christian Church
Easter Sunday services will be held in Mandarin at 9.30am and in Cantonese at 2pm. Good Friday ceremonies will happen at 7.30pm.

A joint Mandarin and Cantonese service will be held at 9.30am, a Cantonese service at noon and a Mandarin service at 7.30pm.

On Easter Sunday, a Cantonese and Mandarin service will be held at 9am, while two Mandarin services will be held at 11.30am and 7.30pm. Good Friday will be observed at 9am and 7.30pm in both Mandarin and Cantonese.
