Guangzhou Metro Open Late for Christmas Eve

Good news for subway users planning to stay out a little later than normal this evening: all metro lines will operate one hour later than normal.

The announcement is likely an early Christmas gift for those who fear strange taxi men, or those of us that are going to get too drunk tonight to safely ride a Mobike.

Although lines – and even specific stops – typically close at slightly different times, the Christmas Eve extension means all stations will be open until at least 11pm, with some remaining open as late as 1am.

Still don’t know what to do tonight? Check out our Christmas events guide!
