PHOTOS: Guangzhou’s Festival of Light Draws Epic Crowds

Guangzhou’s International Festival of Light is popular, real popular. The event, which runs until December 4, has brought epic crowds to Zhujiang New Town – resulting in long lines at the metro, packed buses, fare-hiking taxis and shoulder-to-shoulder festival goers.

Police implemented crowd control measures on both Friday and Saturday night at Zhujiang Metro Station.

The event, which is themed ‘love of light and shadow’ features 30 different installations and, as you can see below, a hell of a lot more than 30 people:
