A 3-year-old girl in Foshan is receiving treatment for multiple skull fractures after being crushed by a giant glass door that somehow fell off its hinges.

The incident occurred on November 6 at a Foshan Shopping Mall and was captured by a CCTV camera. The horrifying video shows the youth following her grandmother into the mall, when all of a sudden the closing glass door becomes unhinged and falls directly on her head.

In the footage, which has gone viral online, the grandmother can be seen trying to stop the door from hitting the toddler, although she is unsuccessful and also ends up on the floor.

According to Shanghai Daily, the cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
