“Chewie, take us to hyperspace!” is exactly what Han Solo would have yelled if he was in Baiyun International Airport last week for the unveiling of the ‘Space-Time Tunnel.’

The 200-meter-long passageway travels from the airport terminal to the Airport South Metro entrance. The sci-fi-esque tunnel covers a total of 2,500 square meters, according to GD Today, and offers guests a journey through the universe when they step onto the moving walkway.

From colorful visual displays similar to those of the northern lights, to the body of star-like lights that cover its walls, the new airport walkway is a spectacle to behold.

If lucky, travelers may even spot an R2D2-like robot roaming the tunnel...
