On October 15, at around 11pm, the Baiyun Public Security Bureau received a call about a warehouse fire at GFAST 8F Logistics Port. Fourteen first responders were dispatched immediately.
The fire covered 1600 square meters. Smoke can be seen pouring out of warehouse C7 and C8 miles away. At 1.50pm the firefighters finally put out the fire but clouds of smoke can be seen drifting above the port.
No lives were lost, although two people were injured and are currently receiving treatment at a Guangzhou hospital. No word yet on the cause of the fire.
