Cross-Dressing Man Shows Genitals Near Guangzhou Metro

We are going to start our week off on a slightly ‘exposing’ note, addressing the genitally-liberated man that hangs outside Line 1’s Peasant Movement Institute Station in Yuexiu District, one stop from the Line 2 interchange at Gongyuanqian.

While we unconditionally support all individuals' clothing choices, we do have to question the fact that this person has decided to display their genitals to the commuting public.

“He was just walking down the street and I thought, ‘I've got to get a picture of that guy,'” said Dion Thomas, who captured the above image.

While it is easy to ridicule this confusing public display, there may be more serious psychological issues at play.

“I don't think people in his situation deserve to be ridiculed,” said Gabriel Majack, a Guangzhou resident of 13 years. “His appearance is clearly absurd as a result of his mental state, but that's just a side effect of what is probably a more serious disorder.”

Majack has encountered our flaccid friend on a number of occasions and added: “I run into no shortage of naked homeless people, but it’s probably because they are not aware of their situation.”

The scant display may remind some readers of the individual in Shenzhen who blew up the Internet with his erotic dance moves and sexually-charged outfit back in May.

Officials at Da Tang Police Station, located near Peasant Movement Institute Station, told us they are unaware of this individual and that no one had filed a complaint as of 4.30pm today.
