Beginning as a monthly gathering for artists at Tristan’s, The Salon has grown to include nearly a hundred members and welcomes anyone interested in expressing themselves via spoken word, song, dance or any other desired medium.

On Tuesday, July 26 at 8.30pm, The Salon will present a pop-up gathering on the Guangzhou Opera House steps in response to the movement #BlackLivesMatter. This solidarity edition is an important milestone in The Salon’s ongoing theme, ‘daily news,’ which invites participants to reflect on any event that is significant to them.

All mediums of performance are welcome and encouraged. For more information, contact Ariana Lombardi via WeChat at: arilombardi.
