June 3-4: 2 Men by Edward Lam and Horse Dance Theatre
A collaborative production by Hong Kong director and scriptwriter Edward Lam and Horse Dance Theatre from Taiwan, 2 Men explores human interrelation through two close friends –their similarity, emotions and companionship. Accompanied by cheerful, explosive piano pieces, the story unfolds through the beautiful choreography of Taiwanese dancers Wu-kang Chen and Wei-chia Su.

June 4: Lightwire Theater Presents Moon Mouse
Lightwire Theater, famous for their electroluminescent artistry, is coming to Guangzhou again this summer. Featuring puppetry-based and neon creatures, their one-of-a-kind productions tell poignant stories accompanied by imaginative scores. This year, the group will present ‘Moon Mouse – A Space Odyssey,’ which depicts the merry adventures of Marvin the mouse as he journeys to the moon.

This month, Langham Place, Guangzhou will host the Thai-Talise Food Festival, co-organized by the Consulate of the Kingdom of Thailand in Guangzhou. The festival will feature beloved Thai treats and dishes prepared by guest chef Teaw of Thailand, who flew in especially for this event to showcase the savory flavors of Thai cuisine. Guests who successfully match each dish with its correct name stand the chance to win round-trip tickets from Guangzhou to Bangkok in the lucky draw.
