Suns-Club.jpg

After a year-and-a-half hiatus, SUNS Bar and Lounge is back! Shuttered as a result of the riverside tramway project that now runs through party pier, Guangzhou’s first electronic music club will officially reopen its doors April 1. To celebrate SUNS reopening, management is hosting a two-day party on April 1 and 2 to showcase the club’s remodel. International DJ Russ Yallop will be at the decks for the party, along with SUNS' resident DJ Eazy, spinning dope beats while attendees sip on complementary Champaign.

Apr 1-2, 9pm-late; Free entry. SUNS Bar and Lounge

April 1-3: Star Cruises' Diamond Party

On April 1-3, BeatShip will set sail from Guangzhou’s Nanshan Port and offer guests a party unlike anything the PRD has ever seen. Friday night will see Tribes and Rhampton of OUR HOUSE and HOODOO, Simon B and Bass Panda of GZUG, Le4Tun and D.I.M. of TECHNOLOGIC and D Soul of COLLECTIV (Shenzhen) hit the decks – offering disco, house, trap and bass, techno and drum and bass until the sun comes up over the South China Sea. Saturday night’s Diamond Party will feature online sensations DJ Grace and Eve Special.

Aside from dope beats, ravers can expect access to all the ship’s facilities, including 5 Star restaurants, leisure facilities, a fitness center, party access and, of course, their own cabin for both nights. The ship is destined for Hong Kong and partiers will have a day to explore the city.

Apr 1-3; RMB1999 (RMB888 special price through WeChat ID: smoothnoodle).

April 2: Paul Oakenfold Live at W Guangzhou’s Fei
