Element Fresh has recently rolled out an innovative and delicious new spring menu, boasting a number of nutritious new offerings. The menu is focused heavily on superfoods – food with great taste and crafted from ingredients with substantial health benefits.
Element Fresh, in partnership with Chinese tennis champion Li Na (who won the Australian and French titles), has worked hard to ensure that your next meal at the restaurant will be both tasty and nutritious.
“Tennis icon, mother, wife, building my own brand… My life is exciting and challenging – and it takes a lot of energy. The fundamental source of my energy is plenty of fresh, nutritious food every day. And that’s what our new specials bring onto the table,” said Li, in regards to the new menu.
Superfoods are taking an increasingly important role in innovative Western cuisine, incorporating healthy items such as kale, red beets, quinoa and black longevity rice. These items, combined with the delicious seafood, nuts and fruits that Element Fresh is known for, have helped to create the best spring/summer menu the restaurant has ever released.
Let's take a look at a few of our favorites:
Seafood Cobb
Everybody loves Element Fresh’s classic Cobb salad, but now there’s a new choice. It includes scallops, shrimp and lightly seared flounder with avocado, edamame, kiwi fruit, grilled corn, almond slices, red pepper and mango vinaigrette.
Salmon and Black Rice Salad
When creating with Element Fresh, Li Na wanted to include an Asian-style salad on the menu. Alas the salmon and black rice salad was born. Composed of grilled salmon with ponzu glaze, steamed black longevity rice, mizuna lettuce, grilled baby mushroom, wakame sea vegetable, micro-greens, tobiko roe, and shiso-citrus vinaigrette. Unique ingredients, extra-special combination.
Mediterranean Chicken Salad
A brilliant combination of grilled chicken breast with gremolata (parsley, lemon, garlic) over amaranth leaves, baby spinach, roasted radicchio, black-eyed peas, prosciutto, quinoa, green olives, sliced onion and chopped walnut. Dressed with extra virgin olive oil and fresh lemon juice. Simply delicious.
Green Monster
Cucumber, apple, lemon, spirulina and honey. Cooling and energizing – perfect in summer for those 'on-the-go.'
Fiber Boost
Soy milk, oats, raisins, walnuts, almonds, chia and sunflower seeds. A boost to your vitality and a cleanse to your system.
