Inheriting her African legacy, French artist Pulchérie Lebry-Dassse has been creating artwork which highlights human faces, children and flowers. In the words of the artist, “I love the universal theme of childhood with its simplicity, its innocence and its joys. The eyes through which our feelings speak.” Self-teaching herself to oil painting, her works are inspired by her surroundings in Guangzhou, a city she has loved for two years.
