Club Italia Master Holds Guangzhou Conference

On March 4, Club Italia Master held a press conference in Guangzhou to present their football development strategy in China. 

Club Italia Master, for those unfamiliar with the group, is an official association of former Italian professional footballers that was founded in 1980. The core mission of the group is to promote the value of football to teenagers. 

A number of prominent people presented at the conference, including Laura Egoli, Consul General of Italy in Guangzhou, Zhao Kun, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Provincial Government, Lin Ying, Deputy Director General of Guangdong Sports Bureau and Massimiliano Suglia, Executive Director of Club Italia Master, among others.

During the conference, Zhao Kun, Deputy Secretary General of Guangdong Provincial Government, stated in a speech that Guangdong, which is an important province in China with regards to football, has cherished deep relation with Italy for a long time. Mentioning the well-known Italian football coach Lippi, the former coach of the Guangzhou Evergrande Football Club, Zhao said that Guangdong would take an active part in communicating and learning with developed international football countries including Italy, when deepening the reform of football in the country.
