February 17: Trivia at The Tavern
Join trivia at the Tavern Sports Bar in Zhujiang every Wednesday night. With up to eight players per team, you stand the chance to win three prizes. First place wins a RMB500 voucher to be used at the Tavern, second place gets a RMB200 voucher and third place snags a tower of Tiger.

February 21: Guangdong National Orchestra
One of the most renowned Chinese folk ensembles, the Guangdong National Orchestra emerged from the Chinese Dance and Song Theater in 2002. Having established themselves as an independent national orchestra with more than 1,000 works in their repertoire, the orchestra has collaborated with many prominent national artists and expanded their ranks to include top graduates from famous conservatories in China and Hong Kong. Members span all ages, giving vitality to the orchestra, which is frequently invited to international events, such as the Art Festival of China, Tokushima Folk Art Festival of Japan, Singapore Arts Festival, Hong Kong Youth Art Festival, Macao International Music Festival and Lisbon Music Week. On February 21, join the Guangdong National Orchestra in an epic evening of folk melody.

Until February 22: Chinese New Year in Chimelong Paradise
Converging from different regions in China, a mixed bag of Spring Festival traditions will be witnessed at Chimelong Paradise tourist resort, which will bring about an enthralling parade of Chinese culture. Lion shows, customary eats, a flower market and varied stalls, featuring traditional Chinese crafts, await your patronage. Until February 28: Lantern Festival at Yuexiu Park
With a theme of Journey to the West (a classical Chinese novel featuring a pilgrim journey by a Buddhist monk and his supernatural disciples in the Tang dynasty), the 2016 Lantern Festival at Yuexiu Park combines a stunning variety of lanterns with diverse species of flowers. Consisting of 36 sets of spectacular lanterns and 15 illuminated 3D flowerbeds, the lantern festival will showcase flowers during the day and lanterns at night.
