The Sky is the Limit for Turkish Airlines

Established in 1933 with a fleet of only five airplanes, today Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines is a four-star airline with a fleet of 298 aircraft (passenger and cargo) flying to 277 cities around the world.

With over 80 years of history, Turkish Airlines is one of the world’s fastest growing airlines, flying to more countries worldwide than any other carrier – 110 countries on five continents.

Despite this seemingly unstoppable growth, Turkish Airlines has maintained a dedication to quality and service that not many other companies can boast. The airline has received numerous awards (far to many to list here – but we will take a crack at it), including ‘Europe’s Best Airline’ (five times), ‘Best Airline in Southern Europe’ (seven consecutive times), ‘Best Business Catering Service’ (2013), ‘Best Business Airline Lounge’ (2015) and several ‘Passenger Choice Awards’, among numerous others.

In order to keep its brand equity alive and well, Turkish Airlines invests in comfort seats, quality service staff, in-flight entertainment systems and gourmet cuisine. Safety is also a top priority (as it should be) for the company, with the latest technological innovations and advancements being implemented throughout the airlines rapidly growing fleet.

With Turkish Airlines’ strategically significant position between east and west, the company can likely look forward to years of further growth and expansion.
