"Play Together" originated in March 2022, as choreographers Guo Rui and Alexander Ascher collaborated with Macau's T Theatre for the exhibition-style performance "Dance Perspectives." Exploring influences from Europe and the U.S., the project aims to create a diverse space, bringing together artists from the Greater Bay Area with varied artistic interests. Fostering support among artists, "Play Together" invites audiences to experience genuine encounters, choreographic practices, and the potential fictions, narratives, and imaginations associated with these interactions. This performance not only reflects diverse aesthetics but also promotes collaboration and exploration within the contemporary artistic landscape.
