According to lead singer Ryo Kinoshita, Crystal Lake’s music focuses on how to combat life’s most difficult times, as well as the agony and conflict that come with such experiences. The quintet, formed in 2002, is one of the few remaining groups playing metalcore in Japan, although the band has seen members come and go over the years. This month, Crystal Lake will commence their first tour in the Chinese mainland. Be sure to catch them at Mao Livehouse on Halloween!
