The renowned German orchestra is making their first visit to Guangzhou since their last appearance in 2015, this time performing under the baton of Finnish maestro Jukka-Pekka Saraste. Masterful in their exploration of the depths and essence of classical music, the orchestra will accompany two German choruses – WDR Rundfunkchor and SWR Vokalensemble – to present Beethoven’s time-tested ‘Symphony No. 9.’
