Enter Tristan’s Calmex Restaurant and Bar. This new and slightly hidden location is an undisputable gem of the Guangzhou food and beverage scene. Owner and manager Tristan Sapp is well known among locals for his Tex-Mex wizardry. Prior to opening his own location, Sapp ran well-received taco nights at some of the city’s celebrated drinking and dining sites, including The Brew, El Cafetal and the recently shuttered Standing Goose.
