China Rhythm Centre Description

Down a very Cantonese looking backstreet – think Police Story – China Rhythm is hidden but not ignored. Since April 2012 they have built up a solid foreign clientele, who head there for the soundproofed band rooms. All at reasonable rates too: the piano room is RMB20 per hour, the drum room is RMB30 per hour and the band room is RMB50 per hour. It’s small, pokey and has a hodgepodge vibe, with racks of assorted music magazines, violins, rattles and random percussion packed onto shelves and units.
