InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong celebrated the grand opening of its newly renovated Chinese restaurant, Hoi King Heen, with an elegant ceremony attended by distinguished guests this March. 

Set against the picturesque backdrop of the restaurant’s Siheyuan-inspired environment, this momentous occasion underscores the hotel’s unwavering commitment to providing an unparalleled dining experience.

"This is an exhilarating moment for us. After a lengthy period of preparation and diligent teamwork, we are thrilled to unveil this beautiful new setting," expressed Drummond, "We are dedicated to offering authentic Cantonese cuisine, utilising cherished family recipes and traditional craftsmanship to create a delightful dining experience for our guests."

Following the ceremony, attendees enjoyed an exclusive guided tour led by the renowned interior designer Nicole Choi, recognised as one of Hong Kong’s top 50 designers. 

Choi shared her insights into the restaurant's exquisite design concept, which draws inspiration from traditional Siheyuan architecture, creating a serene courtyard that embodies harmony and love.

Guests were subsequently introduced to the culinary masterpieces crafted by Executive Chinese Yu Chiu Kwan, who unveiled a selection of classic dishes with modern twists. 

The event culminated in a tasting of Hoi King Heen's signature canapés, each highlighting the rich heritage of Cantonese cuisine.

Hoi King Heen is synonymous with sophistication and authenticity, celebrated for its exceptional Cantonese offerings set within a tranquil environment perfect for family gatherings and business entertainment. 

Under the helmsmanshipof Chef Kwan, the restaurant expertly preserves cherished family recipes while employing fresh, high-quality ingredients to elevate classic dishes to new heights.

The carefully curated wine list features a fine selection of wines from China and a particular focus on varieties of Riesling and Pinot Noir, which pair beautifully with Cantonese dishes. 

A selection of well-aged Cognacs provides a sophisticated finish to any meal.

Committed to sustainability, Hoi King Heen prioritises sourcing ingredients and products that reflect responsible practices, ensuring a dining experience that is both delicious and environmentally conscious.
