Guangzhou, July 2022 – Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Demange as the hotel’s General Manager, effective from July, 2022.

Mr. Demange embarked his career in hospitality in Food and Beverage department at Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi in 2006, his career footprints cover various exciting properties include the renowned Raffles Singapore and Raffles Grand Hotel d' Angkor. Mr. Demange was the Hotel Manager of Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich in 2016, he held his first General Manager role at Pullman Suzhou Zhonghui in 2018, where he successfully led the pre-opening project and opened this global flagship Pullman hotel. Before re-joining Sofitel Guangzhou Sunrich, he was the General Manager of Grand Millennium Hongqiao Shanghai.

Originally from France, Mr. Demange earned his Bachelor Degree in Asset and Revenue Management at Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne. He then received his MBA degree in International Hotel and Service Industry Management at Glion Institute of Higher Education. With over 17 years of rich experience in the hospitality industry, Mr. Demange has demonstrated leadership and effective, efficient management in all aspects of the hotel’s operations.
