A fourth-year student at Guangxi Medical University's School of Public Health was expelled this week after dressing up in drag to sit his girlfriend's term-end exam for her.
The girl, a third-year student in the nursing faculty, was also expelled from the university for her part in the duplicitous scheme.

A proctor at the Foundations of Chemistry examination unmasked the 24-year-old young man part-way through the exam.
Netizens have suggested that expulsion of both him and his 20-year-old girlfriend for the "imaginative" ploy was "too cruel," and university staff contacted by reporters implored them not to bother the two former students, who they say are "distraught" about having their academic careers shattered by the not-so-cunning stratagem.
