What do you mean you don't speak Chinese? But you look Chinese! Or at least, Chinese-ish.
Being an ABC (American Born Chinese) or ABK (American Born Korean) or IBM (Italian Born Mongolian, we suppose) or any other stripe of someone with Asian heritage but a Western childhood can be confusing enough in your home country, let alone in China.
