Former NBA star Dennis Rodman has again courted controversy by denying that North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un had his uncle executed, as was widely reported last year.
"You could say anything here about North Korea and people would believe it," Rodman said in an interview with DuJour. "The last time I went there, when they said they killed his girlfriend, they killed his uncle, they just fed him to the dogs [...] They were standing right behind me."
Though reports that Jang Song-thaek was allegedly fed to wild dogs were later proven to be false, multiple reliable sources reported that Jang had indeed been executed, by firing squad.
"[Jang] was standing right there," Rodman said.

The Worm also denied that Kim was seeking nuclear weapons. "He's saying that he doesn't want to bomb anybody," Rodman told DuJour. "He said, 'I don't want to kill Americans.' He loves Americans."
Last time Rodman was in the media, he issued a tearful apology for going to North Korea in the first place, and said he was "never going back".
