Once moored on the Huangpu River, this ship hosted countless weddings and annual gatherings, becoming a cherished memory for a generation of Shanghainese. The Seafood Palace, a symbol of Shanghai's past, has now been reborn as Star of Pu, a dazzling new dining destination.
After more than three years of renovation, on December 17, 2024, the "New Seafood Palace" pontoon officially obtained its ship inspection certificate, and Star of Pu made its grand debut!
Located in the golden waters of the Huangpu River, Star of Pu is a 10,000-square-meter pontoon that combines luxury dining with breathtaking views. Developed by Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal Development Co., Ltd., Sanliyin Enterprise Development (Group) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Linjiangyan Catering Group Co., Ltd., this four-story dining ship offers a unique "ship banquet" experience, blending culinary excellence with the beauty of the river.
The exterior design of Star of Pu was crafted by the internationally renowned design team SUL Company, featuring 270° panoramic glass walls that offer stunning views of the Bund's historic architecture, the Huangpu River, and the Lujiazui financial district.
