A 29 year old man has been arrested after writing a letter to his eight year old student in which he referred to her as his wife and asked her to 'make love' to him for his birthday.

The tutor appeared at a Hong Kong district court charged with 11 counts of child abuse and the possession of child pornography. Prosecutors say he previously molested four girls aged eight and nine. The girls were students at his private tutoring centre.

The man has not been identified as the case is awaiting a report from a psychiatrist, due on February 13.

Read the (incredibly creepy) letter below, translation by Hong Kong Coconuts

Prepare yourself before reading my letter. I am gathering up my courage to confess: I LOVE YOU

Perhaps I’m a little late in telling you this, and I should have confessed my love a few months ago. But I kept it a secret because I was afraid that if you knew, you would be cold towards me. During the days I’ve spent with you, I always felt that you were, whether intentionally or unintentionally, trying to get my attention. I feel strange because when you sit with other boys or notice other boys, I am afraid (and also a little angry) — perhaps this is love.

In my heart, you are an adorable little girl. Every time I see you, it’s like seeing my own guardian angel, and I feel really happy. This week is my birthday. Although you are only nine years old, I really love you and I really want to make love to you, and give you a lively little baby. Can you fulfil my birthday wish? Will you be my little wife?

From: Your hubby
PS: This must be the first time you receive a letter, remember to keep it properly! I have enclosed a blank paper for your reply, give it to me by slipping it inside your homework.
