Foshan grandmother builds badass Mad Max-style trash fence to guard against thieves

Dissatisfied with her building's protection from burglars, an elderly woman in Foshan, Guangdong province, took matters upon herself and built a formidable-looking 'trash fence' around her property

According to a neighbour (the owner of the trash fence, like all true insane genius castle dwellers would not initially talk to reporters), the woman is 70 years old and lives in the building with her husband, they added that the old woman often finds "trivial reasons" to crititicise and curse at her neighbours. When the CFP photographer finally got the old woman to answer the door, she curtly said that the fence was built "against thieves".

A local official, surnamed Wu, told reporters that the village government is negotiating with the old woman and her husband to remove the fence, which neighbours have complained is an eyesore.
