No experience of China is the same. That's why That’s China is inviting all foreigners to share their unique experiences and take part in the 2018 ‘Fabulous Zhuhai’ Writing/Photography Campaign. This is your chance to get published – and paid!
The writing and photographing campaign is sponsored by China Intercontinental Press and the Zhuhai Press Group, and is jointly organized by the That's Magazine group and ciccphoto.com.
The competition is now open for submissions. Two winners will be selected to join the That's China editorial team as a guest writer/photographer for the chance to discover one of the top marine tourism destinations in China... totally free of charge!

General Requirements
1. Theme of article/photo essay: “Zhuhai”
2. Chinese-speaking proficiency (basic or above) preferable
3. Participants must abide by the Chinese law, observe professional ethics and follow the regulations of magazine content
Detailed Requirements (Writing)
1. Native English speaker or on similar level
2. Writing experience not necessary but desirable
3. For candidates based outside of Zhuhai, flexibility for arranging a five-day trip to Zhuhai at some point between June and July 2018 is required
4. Length of article: 1,000-2,000 words (or above)
5. One headshot picture and a brief author bio
What You'll Get (Writing)
1. For winners based outside of Zhuhai, a five-day trip to Zhuhai (at some point between June and July 2018) for free. He/she shall provide two travel stories after the trip for the chance of joining the editorial team as a guest writer
2. Other candidates will receive RMB300-500 per 1,000 words for articles selected for publishing
Detailed Requirements (Photography)
1. Native English speaker or on similar level
2. Photography experience not necessary but desirable
3. For candidates based outside of Zhuhai, flexibility for arranging a five-day trip to Zhuhai at some point between June and July 2018 is required
4. Five to ten pictures about Zhuhai with a brief caption for each picture (in the style of a photo essay)
5. One headshot picture and a brief photographer bio
What You'll Get (Photography)
1. For winners based outside of Zhuhai, a five-day trip to Zhuhai (at some point between June and July 2018) for free, and the chance of joining the editorial team as a guest photographer.
2. Other candidates will receive RMB100-200 per photo for works selected for publishing
