Yesterday, Donald and Melania Trump were treated to a tour of the Forbidden City by Xi Jinping and Peng Liyuan to kick off the US President's three-day trip to Beijing.

During the tour, Trump got another history lesson from Xi after he tried to point out that Egyptian civilization is 8,000 years old, which would make it much more ancient than China's 5,000-year-history.

"I guess the oldest culture they say is Egypt [at 8,000 years]," said Trump.

"Yes, Egypt is older than China, but Chinese civilization is the only and oldest continuous culture in the world," replied Xi. "We have the same black hair and yellow skin. We call ourselves the descendents of the dragon.”
