Last week, Shanghai SIPG fans sang they were going to f**k Guangzhou Evergrande. Well, it turned out the vulgarians were correct, as the first leg of the Champions League quarter final saw the home side run out 4-0 winners against the two-time Asian Champions at Shanghai Stadium.
Hulk opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 38th minute, after Wu Lei had been brought down in the box. Wang Shenchao then heading in from a Hulk cross in first half injury time to double the lead.
Elkeson set Wu Lei free in the 62nd minute to fire in a scorcher from the edge of the box. And the Chinese international bagged his second just two minutes later after being set up by Hulk in another break away to complete an emphatic victory.

It is was the second time SIPG had defeated Evergrande in the space of a week, with a 2-1 win in the FA Cup semi final last Wednesday. The return legs of both ties are as follows.
