A massive gas explosion rocked a crayfish restaurant in Nanjing yesterday, injuring at least two people. So far no casualties have been reported.
Local state media said that the explosion took place Tuesday morning at around 5am in Nanjing's Gulou district. The explosion was believed to be caused by a gas leak.
Firefighters were called to the scene shortly after the explosion to help evacuate at least 10 nearby residents.

The sheer force of the explosion caused extensive damage to many houses nearby. Meanwhile, two people were sent to the hospital to be treated for their injuries. As of yesterday afternoon, they were still undergoing treatment, and it's unclear what their conditions are.
